It is also possible to integrate external functionality via API. In the workflow which we write it’s possible to have sequential execution, conditional execution or iterative execution.
For example, if the ticket status on the dashboard does not change until a specific time, automatically an email would be sent to the next person on the escalation matrix. Other examples includes trigger based cache refresh, condition based white labelling etc.
