How to Resolve the Issue “Dashboard Renderer not Found or Failed to Start , Please Contact You Your System Administrator in Jasper”

This blog will teach you how to resolve the issue “Dashboard Renderer not found or failed to start, Please contact you your system administrator in Jasper” –

The above error comes when a user wants to export dashboard in any of the pre-defined formats.

To resolve this, PhantomJS should be installed in the machine and it should be properly configured by the application server.

Once PhantomJS is installed in the machine, configure it in the properties file located in /WEB-INF/js.config.properties –

 

After this, we have to restart the Jasper server.

NOTE – I have tested this on the Jasper Server V6.3.
