In some cases, there might be a scenario that we want to display the aggregated data using tabular component but look and feel wise it should look like cross-tab.
Means value of field should be printed only once for a particular bucket of data.
So in such cases, there is check-box (Print Repeated values) in Jasper Studio under appearance properties tab of text field which restricts the printing duplicate values for a field. If this check-box is unchecked only unique values will be printed for that text field.
In my case, I have used sample food mart database and report is showing country-wise and state-wise sales. I have created a grouping on fields country and state.
