How to Connect to KDB database in Jaspersoft

To Connect to KDB database in Jaspersoft follow the below steps:

1. Open Jasper studio and create a data adapter.
2. KDB requires a separate jar file called ‘jdbc.jar’.Below is the jar file.

JDBC.jar file

3. Include this jar file in Driver Classpath.



4. Add the details in data adapter as shown.



JDBC Driver – jdbc

JDBC Url – jdbc:q:servername:port

5. Create a new report.
6. In dataset, select language as ‘sql’.
7. Write the required query and preview.

Ex :

q) 
Select from table1

Note: Query in the dataset should be prefixed with q)
