Saiku Analytics – Pentaho Plugin

Load/Save Dialog of Saiku Analytics – Pentaho Plugin Fails in Pentaho BA Server – No Folders listed

PreRequisites:

1. Pentaho Server 8.1v
2. Saiku Plugin 3.15v

Steps:

1. In the Pentaho server, we have saiku plugin which is used to create ad-hoc reports using Pentaho cubes. After creating the report, once the user clicked on saving the report, a pop-up window appears with the option to select the repository, enter the name and save the report
2. But after clicking on save option, a pop-up window appears having repository structure loading only.

It will be like the below image




3. After waiting a few minutes also it will be still loading only
5. To Resolve the above issue, follow the below steps
6. Copy the following two files:
• …/pentaho-server/Pentaho-solutions/system/Pentaho-CDF/lib/cpf-core-8.1.0.0-365.jar
• …/pentaho-server/Pentaho-solutions/system/Pentaho-CDF/lib/cpf-Pentaho-8.1.0.0-365.jar

to:
…/pentaho-server/pentaho-solutions/system/saiku/lib/

Remove the below files

• …/pentaho-server/Pentaho-solutions/system/saiku/lib/cpf-core-6.0.0.0-353.jar
• …/pentaho-server/Pentaho-solutions/system/saiku/lib/cpf-pentaho5-6.0.0.0-353.jar
7. Restart the Pentaho Server
8. Open the Pentaho server, create a report with the cube and click on save option

9. A pop-up window will appear with the repository structure
